steve40
Well, things didn't quite go as planned. I had to spend almost a whole day troubleshooting a very annoying CTD that I kept encountering in the water near Windhelm. It turned out to be due to a corrupted(?) save game. I had to go back a long long way to find a save game that didn't crash :( At least it wasn't caused by any mods. The good news is that I've implemented the option in the configurator to enable or disable the custom music. I've also finished creating an "electric" jawfish. I added this effect to the Emperor Jawfish, it works brilliantly and it is cool to watch it in action. It's fun luring a jawfish near some bandits and then watching the ensuing fight :) I've now checked more than 98% of all the spawn points and removed any problem ones that were causing poor FPS. Skyrim really doesn't like it if I place markers under ice floes, which is a royal pain  I've updated all my documentation, help file, book text, Nexus page, etc. so I'm getting close to being ready to release the mod. There's one main thing that's holding me back atm - my music control script has a few bugs that need to be fixed. Once I've ironed out the script issues then I should be ready to package up all the files and put them on Nexus :)
DaveSpins
Looks amazing, mate! Did you do your own textures? (Sorry if it was asked before, I didn't feel like reading through all the comments to find my answer)

JD1
Well it sucks about your CTD issue man, glad everything's fine now.I really like the electric jawfish idea hehe  Can't wait to try it out!
steve40
I finally managed to get the music control script working to my liking. There are some odd issues with adding and removing music from the playlist stack using scripts, occasionally it "breaks" the music. Fortunately, reloading the last save fixes it again right away. I think the music player just chokes sometimes. Just spent most of the day archiving all the files to bsa and testing it out. The best news is that I'm uploading the mod to Nexus now  JAWS: Deadly Oceans Edited May 13, 2012 by steve40
ledmack
Will this be the last of the fish you add or will there be more? I am impressed with the work you have done so far. I haven't found anything else like it.
steve40
I'll start working on the next update of the mod in a few weeks time, as soon as I've finished my current mod projects. Will probably be adding new abilities, alchemy ingredients, some sort of reward item or trophy, scripted animation such as jawfish jumping out of the water, and maybe redo some textures. IrishWarrior17
Are there any underwater combat mods? Because I REALLY want to fight those suckers.
