Skinjack
OK, I'm going to try this again since I didn't get any responses the first time and I can no longer find the old thread. I have a couple of bow models that I want to get into the game. I actually have the first one in the game, and it looks good. From the third person view I can shoot arrows and it looks good as well from behind. However, when I go into first person, the string doesn't pull back when shooting. The arrow works in this view as well. I did some looking, but I'm at a loss for why my string is not moving. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I imported all of the bones from the daedric bow as the tutorial I was using showed, I'm just not familiar enough with either of these programs to know what I need to do next, and I haven't seen this issue anywhere online. Is it because my bow is split into two "elements"? I've tried several changes and nothing seems to make them one piece like the imported model of the Daedric Bow in Nifskope. Is there anyone who can help me with this? I've been playing with this off and on for several months and I don't seem to be getting past this point. Usually I just wind up getting frustrated and putting it away for a few weeks. I'm sure its probably something stupidly easy, but I haven't found out what that is yet. https://imgur.com/YuUkiD6https://imgur.com/qHcWEhmhttps://imgur.com/w73Cq3T
Skinjack
https://imgur.com/MZXd2Zphttps://imgur.com/2UJVOKshttps://imgur.com/1Y5CKmo So I gave up on the one bow after about fourteen hours because it was starting to annoy me. I decided I would try to get another model in-game, so I did this one. Same issue as shown by the pictures, although this one shows as one-piece in nifskope like the ebony bow does. No string movement. I still don't know why. I've gone thru therapyshiatsu's tutorial and Artisanix's pdf (which confuses the hell out of me towards the end with weighing points - not having luck figuring that out). Anyway, my strings have a center set of points, I've imported the bones and nifskoped the hell out of this per therapyshiatsu, tried my hand at Artisanix's article, but I still can't get this to work. Some movement would be nice, as it would be a step in the right direction. No one knows what the issue is or how to fix it?
