How to make armor not possible to unequip by player or make player race that looks like armor?

It's something that has been done before

I think all you need , is to select the mesh you want as the basic body mesh for the race

I remember a Skyrim mod that recreates an old game , where you play as a skeleton (I don't remember the name of the game , or the mod)

but that is one way to go , though there are probably other mods that let you play as a skeleton or something like that , that you can look at to see what they've done
