Tamb0
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. when I click on file details in the load data menu nothing comes up! i think somehow everything on my mod was deleted! f***. gahd. Anyone think i can recover it somehow? If you're lucky, the preferences for the CK will be set to automatically backup every 20 minutes or so.If it is set, then you'll find your backups a folder named Backup, inside your game folder. The files will be named Your Mod Name.esp.x.bakThe x will be a number. Just rename and delete the .x.bak from the end of the file name, so that it becomes Your Mod Name.esp I wish you well Edited April 21, 2012 by Tamb0
bluesmurph
Oh My God. Thank the Lord. Thank you for telling me about this. I discovered that backup folder right before you sent that message and you explained how to get my mod back. Thank you so much! I only lost like 1 min worth of work from the backup. the only odd thing is that it backed up 5 times and they were not in order. back up number 3 was the last back up... kinda weird
Tamb0
Glad to hear it.   I think that once the number gets to 9, it starts overwriting the lower numbers again and just cycles around. That's why number 3 was the latest. The next backup should be 4, although you already have a 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.As you say, just sort by creation date/time and you'll get the latest.
