kettering
I don't think I should blame this problem on Wrye Bash exactly, but I literally have no idea what to do. My game was running almost 100% perfectly, but I wanted to use Wrye Bash just to sort things out and clean up my mod list. I did, and at the same time I was messing around with it I also upgraded some mods, and installed some new textures. After I thought everything was okay (no warning messages from Wrye Bash, etc.), I loaded my game, and every time I went to go to the 'system' tab in order to save or check settings, it instantly CTD. I have done everything I can think of to try and fix this. I've virtually reset my Skyrim to default. I've uninstalled all of my mods; there's nothing in the data folder but vanilla files. I've uninstalled Wrye Bash and removed all its data. I reset my .ini files to their originals. I uninstalled SKSE. Skyrim is technically in its vanilla state, yet it still crashes every time I try to go to the system tab. Do I have to uninstall NMM, too, even though there's nothing in my data folder? Is that somehow overwriting things? I really don't want to have to reinstall Skyrim from the beginning but it's starting to look like I might have to. : ( Even though I backed up my data folder from before I reset it I feel like I'm going to have to redo everything if I reinstall it. EDIT:This appears to be an issue with only one of my characters. I tried to access the system tab on another character and it worked fine. I went back to previous saves on this one, but the problem still persisted. Does this mean the character is corrupted? Is there a way to fix that? I've put a lot of effort into this character and would REALLY hate to see it all go to waste. Edited April 21, 2012 by kettering
