fozzieoscar
As it is at the moment, ANY falling distance will result in a falling/landing animation that interrupts melee/unarmed attacks. This poses problems when attempting to use VATS against enemies who are on stairs or otherwise uneven ground, but this is a minor problem compared to trying to navigate libertalia in power armour.Due to the fact that the ships and platforms in libertalia are constantly bobbing up and down in the water trying to use melee either in or out of vats becomes an excruciating experience. Oddly enough this issue is relatively inconsistent. On one hand i can step off the house foundations in sanctuary with the falling/landing animations only kicking in when falling further than roughly 1-1.5 feet. But at its worst the falling/landing animation will kick in when "falling" from a flat piece of timber to the floor, or even worse when walking across the smooth surface of a ship in libertalia whilst the ship is in the "decend" portion of its bobbing up and down animation. what i would like to see would be an enforced falling distance/time before the game considers you "airborne" for purposes of melee/unarmed attacking or, preferably, simply allowing melee/unarmed attacks to be performed whilst airborne/landing in the same way that shooting is possible whilst doing so (also allowing us to do some sick leaping smashes)
