Tsumikiro
I enjoy using the resto school, but it always seems like a pain to swap out my offensive abilities to heal for 2 seconds then go back to fighting. Some reactive restoration spells might be nice. Here are my ideas. 1. A Restoration Armor that heals you for x amount over an extended period of time when you take damage. Say an armor that last for three to five minutes and heals the caster for x points of damage over the next 20-30 seconds. Non-stacking - only one regen buff on you even if you are taking repeated hits of damage. 2. A targeted "mark" spell that causes attackers to be healed when they inflict damage on the marked target. To balance this between fast attacking dual wielders and slower 2h or spells, make the healing a static amount over 2-3 seconds. Buff doesn't stack. An alternate of this spell might cause the marked target to cause a "healing explosion" when they die - good for healing the melee troop or for keeping melee focused followers alive. Just some thoughts and spells that I have't seen modded in yet. Thanks for reading.
ThyHarrowing
I'm not aware of any mods that address your "mark" spell idea but there are already mods that add resto spells that can be used offensively. Such popular mods as "Midas Magic" and "Phenderix's Magic Evolved" add spells that are capable of doing holy damage, which is a damage type against the undead, seeing as the resto school is completely opposite of evil/undead. In my opinion, adding restoration spells that go any farther than holy damage wouldn't in keeping with the nature of restoration... but that's just my opinion so it's beside the point. There are also mods that give wards some offensive capability too. "Reflection Wards and Spellbreaker support" is one that I know of. There is also a combat overhaul mod called "Deadly Combat" that adds a feature allowing characters to use wards for "timed blocks". If you time it well enough the ward will reflect the spell to where you are aiming. It's really neat, and challenging; thus fun. Can't think of anything other than that but look around some more because I'm sure these things you have described are out there already. Maybe someone else can help you out more than me.
