rmm200
You can set the directories for each game separately. It doesn't have to be in AppData\Roaming\Vortex In fact, if you are trying to keep gobs of data off your boot drive, AppData\Roaming\Vortex is kind of a terrible choice. Evanangelgarner1997
so im new to modding skyrim in particular so all this stuff is practically rocket science to me but I have an issue when I play with mods using vortex my problem is after I downloaded a certain number of mods like 8 or 9 and above, ill launch skyrim though vortex and when I have that number of mods installed or more my frame rate is complete doodoo, like I cant play the game with the mods I want installed after I hit that limited number of mine ive searched everywhere for the answer and pertaining to what you guys are talking about I would imagine its within the same ballpark and also I know your not suppose to but I also do download some older mods from oldrim like some files from heart of the beasts legacy of kain mods werewolf overhaul's etc dark envoy.... but those ran pretty smoothly when they were the only mods installed besides a few weapon mods but I don't know what to do to play with the mods I desire without it being a total slug any advice ? You will get much better results.2) Skyrim problems need to be discussed on a Skyrim forum. Folks there are more experienced with specific Skyrim mod issues.3) This is the Vortex support forum, for issues related to Vortex. You can prove to yourself Vortex is not related to your performance problems. Stop Vortex so it is not active. Now run Skyrim the way you normally do. Vortex never needs to be running when you play your game.
