ThiefHawk Posted April 22, 2012 Share Posted April 22, 2012 This will be my very first large mod for fallout New Vegas , However i don't want to make it easy for players. My concept idea consist of Taking on contracts like New Vegas bounties but with hitman style and flavor . however instead of going to a npc for contracts you will be carrying around a portable laptop that assigns contracts once you completed previous contract (however I will need some help with that part for scripting ) these contracts must be completed with as described (other words if a contract demands the person be killed in public you must wait till he is in public, or if it requires a stealth kill , a stealth kill must be made if not then the contract/quest will fail.For The Moment working on the first part of the mod the ATH Companions will allow you to recruit trained companions each with his or her back story, each companion will have a unique look using face, body mods from a lot of great mods of Fallout New Vegas each companion will be self contained (meaning they will have there own body/face data as well as weapons and armor to prevent conflicts with other mods) Males are using the hero race by geonox Geonox Hero RaceMales Body's will be using Roberts Male body Robertsfemales however i'm still trying to find he perfect face presets (anyone have a good suggestion let me know)as for body I'm kind of torn between what to use As for armor and weapons each companion will carry a unique collection of armor and weapons from other great modders as well and from new modders as well . each companion will have a management option to switch to different armor or weapon depending on what is needed for the task . The Quest Script are going to be based off NV port of Jessi companion if you are familiar with her then you will understand why i have chosen to use that with the multiple option. I would love to be able to add voice with each companion however my time is limited and don't have the required tools for recording . (after fixing all the issue with the scripts from jessi i understood exactly how to construct the script to fully work with out errors . it seems that port of a fallout 3 favorite had been ported badly once i completed first part of my mod will upload the proper port providing if i can get permission from original modder.This mod will not come out all at once only parts at a time like i said my time is limited i work 6 days a week and work on after i get off work . companion will come first then the place where they originated from as well as a quest to follow to get there .followed by the contracts will come in last however some target will not be easy kills they will fight back and will not go down quietly. if other modders are interested and like to provide ideas , suggestion or even like to see some of there mods added into it let me know , keep in mind this will be my very first large mod and of-course there maybe bugs here and there but always will listen to suggestions Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
