Shadohz
...except when playing Skyim on laptop. Okay so I've tried using "performance mods" and using STEP to fix my "macrostuttering". They were either ineffective or exacerbated the problems. So really what it comes down to is when I have Beyond Skyrim (Bruma), Falskaar, and Wrmstooth enabled its too taxing on my system with my other large mods. What I'm looking for is good substitutions for the other mods. For example: Skyrim Immersive Creatures I found can be subbed for "DFB Random Encounters". It doesn't have the variety of SIC but the encounters switches up the gameplay enough that it doesn't feel like the vanilla version. I'm looking to sub out the following mods with more performance friendly versions that add variety to the game. Immersive Armor (looking for smaller armor collection that distributes to NPCs and creatures)Skyrim Immersive Creatures (looking for monster variety mod(s))Immersive Weapons (looking for smaller weapon collection that distributes to NPCs and creatures)Art of Magic (a good knock-off mod that adds a few mage clothing plus similar mod features).Common Clothes (looking for similar variety clothing mod to NPCs).Cloaks of Skyrim (looking for similar mod that distributes cloaks to npcs). Immersive Citizens does not appear to put too much strain on the system and I'm also running it with some random-generated townsfolk mod. However I wouldn't mind trying out some other mod similar to IC. I'm not running heavy on texture mods (HDT, Demonic low-rex, Gemling Jewelry low-rez, feminine arg/khaj texts). I know someone is bound to ask. You may notice a theme that I'm looking for mods that add randomization, variety and/or NPC distribution to the game environment. I've looked for mods but there's so many that they're easy to miss, especially with a poor description.
