CobraSA
Title says it all, right now it seems to save into a plugin only if you mod the oblivion main file. Is there a way? TIA.
Deleted2543153User
It took me a while to figure this out. The simplest way is to use Construction Set Extender.
DrakeTheDragon
The CS always saves into the file you specify as the "active" plugin. If you don't specify an active plugin, it will save into a new one. Don't use the button to select plugins you want to use but not modify. Only the one plugin you intend to modify has to be selected by this button. Additionally, as KusaLord already pointed out, the CSE comes in handy when you try to use a plugin as a master for another plugin, so its contents can by used in the other one, because the CS doesn't support ESP masters and will simply loose the connection on save and load, loosing all contents you used from the other plugin in the process. The CSE allows for ESP masters right away and is the preferable way to do this.
CobraSA
OK, thanks guys, indeed not setting file active allows to save as a plugin. Then using Wrye Bash I could set the master file and it now works perfectly.
