H1N1
Will it affect the Game performance?
xlcr
hi H1N1, guess you're talking about modifying your ini's [Display] iPresentInterval=0watch for the usual potential issues like:- game object physics becoming unstable and causing things to rattle or suddenly fly across a room.- mouse control becomes worse or lags.- graphics displays excessive screen tearing along edges of things.in addition to tweaking the ini's, you should also look into forcing vertical sync off in your GPU skyrim program settings control panel.i force v-sync off with no issues on an older laptop w/nvidia 460m.. Ahh, So Far I haven't seen or observed any Bugs or Flying Objects and Any Lags.
KMA
Yep, if you change [Display] iPresentInterval=0 to [Display] iPresentInterval=1 expect poltergeists when you go indoors. The objects will clip through you and your armor, and can potentially kill you. I had to change it back to 0 due to this...Though if you do not see this behaviour check your card's settings to make sure you do not have it forced off there.
a7x5631
The only benefit of turning it off is the mouse feels a lot more natural. Triple Buffering helps that though. Like the other guy said, every time I enter a house or tavern, the physics would go crazy and stuff would fly everywhere. Plus with Vsync on, your GPU will run cooler and use less power. The FPS cap makes the GPU less stressed.

The FPS cap makes the GPU less stressed. With my mod running I was using a lot of memory, so turning VSYNC On made the game a lot smoother (especially around dungeon based fog). Good points about the GPU running cooler - I did not even think of that aspect. Too bad it does not work for me...
