Skyrim CTD with no error while playing ,mod issue?

Alright, I get there has been tons of these threads and I really don't want to read information that may be outdated.

So I'm just going to explain my situation. I only started modding Skyrim on Thursday (bought the game on Wednesday.)

 

This is the list of my current mods.

 

A Quality World Map

Better Females By Bella

Better Villages

Black Tower and BSA pack

DaggerCraftPackage

Enhanced Blood Textures

Sharpshooters Extreme Graphics Vision ENB - good performance

Okay before I get on to explaining my crashes. I installed Enhanced Blood Textures yesterday and ever since I wasn't able to exit to the main menu, if I tried it would CTD. When I deactivated the blood texture mod and I tried quitting to the main menu the game stopped crashing, But I reactivated the mod and I let it be since it didn't bother my saves or gameplay then.

The mods I installed after the blood textures pack were:

(In that order)

 

So now after 5 hours of gameplay my game started crashing every 5-10 minutes with no error.

 

My specs:

 

Monitor Res: 1920x1080

CPU: i5 2500k @ 3.3 GHz

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2 x 4) 1600 MHz

GPU: EVGA GTX 560 ti 1gb

Mobo: ASRock Extreme3 Gen3

PSU: Antec TruePower Quattro 1000w

OS: WIndows 7 64-bit

 

Graphic Settings:

 

Textures: High

Blur Quality: High

Shadows: Medium

Decal Quantity: High

Distant Object Detail: High

AA: x4

AF: x4

FPS: 45+

 

I have the latest patch for Skyrim installed before I started modding.

 

Can anyone tell me what is up? Thanks in advance!

 

Edit: I deactivated/uninstalled the DaggerCraftPackage mod, being the last mod I downloaded before the game started crashing and I was able to play for about 20 minutes until it crashed..again. I'm stumped, help anyone?

try removing A Quality World Map. i have the same exact mods that u have plus like 30 more. i removed A Quality World Map and the random CTD stopped all completely. hope this works for u. the same issue was driving me crazy and with all the mods that i have i didnt know where to start. to my luck, it was the first one that i picked to remove.

I'm having a similar issue. I disable "A Quality Worldmap" and I am still CTD. It didn't start happening until today. I have tons of mods and ENB installed, but it runs flawless and have had no problems up to this point. It's happening in the area between Markarth and the place I have to go to kill the Foresworn, as well as get some shipment back for Lisbet. I started hitting up all the caves that have the silver/gold over there and once I hit that town with the Silver Blood mercenaries, it has been non stop. The only other thing I can think of would be the ATi driver update I ran this morning. I am reverting now and will confirm if that is the issue as soon as it is done. Hope we can figure this out because I am about to rip my hair out haha.

how i fixed instant CTD on my setup

 

open skyrim .ini in documents/mygames/skyrim

 

go down to the bottom [papyrus] section (if its not there add it!)

 

add the lines:

 

 

iMinMemoryPageSize=100000

iMaxMemoryPageSize=5000000

iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=1800000000

 

 

Only thing that would work for me. i was ripping my hair out too! lol

My .ini is heavily edited already. I've had those lines in for a while but I have iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=3800000000. I have 16 gigs of ram in my system so I want to let it use more. It stopped for a while earlier tonight. I reverted to CCC 12.3 and then for some reason couldn't even run Skyrim so I was forced to uninstall altogether. Then my computer went and downloaded and auto-installed the new drivers again so I said screw it. Since then I didn't get any CTD, until just now, during a load. Which is new. Was usually when I was running or riding my horse. I'll let you know if I figure anything more out. I may try lowering the max bytes because I think I read somewhere that setting values associated with memory too high were related with CTD. I've had it set at that for a couple weeks now though with no issues.

Also, here are the mods I am using. List from BOSS. To clarify again, all this started happening just today when I installed the new ATI drivers. I tried rolling back but it cause a ruckus and I am being lazy atm looking for other solutions lol. Mainly because I have not read anywhere that people are having issues with the new 12.4 CCC. They even address some issues with Skyrim in this patch release, so it is kind of coincidental. Not that I have had any issues before, I am used to the game running flawlessly. Also, I am still in the same area where the crashes started. I was in Whiterun earlier and it didn't crash. So it really hasn't happened anywhere else. I'll keep updating until I find a solution. Also tried lowering the maxallocated and that did not help.

Ok, update, lol. I was playing a few mins ago, and I went into this place called Harmugstahl. Once I entered, I couldn't leave without a CTD. I tried several times... my quicksave and the autosave from when I loaded in. I just loaded the autosave before that where I am already out in Skyrim, before ever entering that place, and it loaded fine, no CTD. Let's see how long I can play before I get another. That was the first instance where I could recreate it several times. Tried installing the CK and still no help. Heard that could help with some issues.

So, after loading up that older autosave and running back to Harmugstahl, I entered, and tried to leave like before, and CTD. So that is 100% recreateable. I'm going to stay away from that place for now and see where this goes. Also, sorry for the repetitive posting, I didnt think to edit my posts instead.

Reverting drivers had no effect. Darn. I am going to try and start disabling mods now to see if I can find the culprit. I can't figure out where this came from for the life of me. Just started out of nowhere this morning when I booted up the PC.

Now I am getting this weird green/red/blue light flare that flashes on the screen, and the textures on a lot of the treetops/tress are flashing, close and in the distance. Really weird. Going to try and uninstall some stuff like the flora overhaul and see what happens.

Disabled all mods, and still cant load into Skyrim. Its not just with Harm now, no matter where I load into, I cant get the game to load when I come out.

I think I have come to accept that my savegame is corrupted somehow lol. I loaded up a really old character from before I started up again, went to the locations I was crashing at, and had no issues at all. :/ Even loading up one of my saves that is two days old produces the error if I travel to that area. This is bogus! Is there any way to fix save games? or debug? Hope you figure out your problem, I am hoping that this is isolated to this save.

I managed to fix the problem on my computer. I used http://skyrim.nexusm...file.php?id=89. What I did was I activated the 1 day re-spawn mod first, turned off all autosaving on my settings, then slept for 2 days. Only needed one but I did two to be safe. After that I saved and exited the game. Then I installed http://skyrim.nexusm...ile.php?id=4528 to try and keep my save from building up again. Doing that re-spawn thing dropped my save a few hundred KB right away, so it defiantly cleared some stuff out. Since then I have not crashed once, and have actually noticed the game is a bit smoother with these mods activated. Faster re-spawn on cells, and possessive corpses cleans up the messes. Hope this works for you and anyone else having this issue.
