LE requesting perk mod

i prefer to keep my gameplay experience pretty vanilla. yet i can't deny the many flaws with the vanilla perks. here's just 1 example.

 

while i don't mind new perks being added, i'm mainly looking for a perk mod that keeps and refines vanilla perks.

 

so far i've found 1 mod that appears to do this. but it's an old mod that's no longer being updated and i've heard it has problems. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36542/

there are so many perk overhauls around

so if you want something specific , you really need to provide some actual information (especially if you are making a request)

if you explain what you are looking for , maybe we'll be able to direct you to an existing mod that does something similar (because I honestly doubt someone will pick up a request here)

or you could try to look through the myriad of perk mods yourself , or even try to learn how to make such a mod yourself (honestly , I would suspect that the only chance you'll see a request answered is if you do it yourself , but I could be wrong here)

um right, right. well... it's a little hard to explain specifically what i want but i'll try.

 

i suppose i'll start with that perk mod i mentioned. i'll link to it again. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36542/ from my experiences with this it's pretty close to what i want but like i said it's an old and somewhat buggy mod that isn't being updated anymore. if someone could pick up this mod and update it, that would already be a decent solution to my problem. honestly it probably would've been better to request for this alone. still since making a new mod from scratch could also be a solution i didn't want that to be thrown off the table.

 

now as for what i'm looking for. well i'd like all the good perks to be kept in tact, though i'm not against refining them if they can be improve, however i would like the perks that are worthless to be fixed. for example the "Intimidation" perk, it doubles the success rate of intimidation checks but the success rate of those checks is based on your speech skill and your character level. the problem here is this perk requires a speech skill of 70 so by the time you can get it you likely won't need it since by that point there likely won't be any intimidation check you can't pass. right now the only solution i can think for this is make the perk available much earlier but divide it's effect into 2-4 ranks. as for new perks to add, the Allure perk nets you 10% better prices from merchants of the opposite sex, so a good perk to add would be one that does the same for the same sex.

 

going into detail about every vanilla perks would take forever, plus i don't know them all so it's beyond me to do so.

 

so yeah this is an example of what i want. something that keeps the good vanilla perks and fixes the bad ones.
