Kolagon
I know its illegal to ask for mods based on copyrighted material, but would it be too much to ask for a sound overhaul of ocarina of time sound effects for my personal use for my Oblivion? However, if this is a bad request, perhaps someone could tell me the file names are for each sound and what they are used for so I may try doing it myself. Moktah
Think of this as a guide to get you started in a general direction.I kinda got an idea of how its done, but I may be wrong. If nothing elseI hope it can lead you in a way to get started. the sound files in oblivion are 'packed' in bsa files. I think of it like winzip or 7zip filesthere are a couple utilities you can choose fromto unpack and view them.I've used BSAopt myselfhttps://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/41042Grant it, I wouldn't be the best person in the world to instruction youon how to use it. I kinda fumbled around with it until I finally gotsomething out it. Think I was sick the day I was fiddling with itso brain power was at negative 10.Top right, hit browsepoint it to your oblivion/data/Oblivion - Sounds.bsaI created a folder on my harddrive where I wanted to unpack stuffthen click the browse button at the bottom and point to itprocede to the unpack button browse through all the sound files and edit what you want. if you put the edited file in the game using the same file structureas you found it in the 'unpacked' folder, then the game will use thenew sound. \unpacked\sound\fx\npc\deer\death\npc_deer_death_01.wavswap out the wav file with the new onepretty sure on this one you'd want to keep it the same namethen put it in your game in the data folder\data\sound\fx\npc\deer\death\npc_deer_death_01.wavthe game will look to the new sound first rather than the bsa file keep in mind, I'm 'kinda' thinking this is how you do itbut if not, hope you've learned enough to get you started
