Hyoukage
Don't know if anyone's ever figured something for this... At the end of Lonesome Road, you have four choices for the active missile silos... - Launch them at NCR, and open the Long-15 for exploration. - Launch them at the Legion, and open Dry Wells for exploration. - Launch them at NCR and Legion, opening both Dry Wells and Long-15. - Sacrifice ED-E-LR, and stop the launch. However, we've all seen the silo in Hopeville, and accidentally nuked the Courier's Mile using the missile in Ashton. We've even seen the half-dozen missiles in Ulysses' Temple silo. So we know there's more missiles in the Divide. So, why not open those extra silos so we have something a bit stronger than the Archimedes II satellite system? Obviously, dropping a 5 kiloton to 10+ megaton charge is just plain wacked, in more ways than one. Doubtful anyone would survive the blast. So, you'd obviously need a new launch code for each missile to be fired. And it'd likely take awhile for said launch order to go through the radiation-blasted circuits in said silos. So, here's the idea... - 10 Launch Codes scattered throughout the Mojave, one for each of 10 warheads in the Divide. - A 10 minute (real-time) wait between the launch order, and the missile launch proper. - A classic "GTFO!" order, so you don't accidentally nuke yourself. - A "scatter pattern" as we know that 200 year old launch platforms aren't going to be in mint condition, and neither are the missiles. Again, as with my Mojave Base Crawler idea, I can't mod worth a case of tin cans. So I'm leaving this hot (radioactively speaking) idea open for other, more talented, people. Hyoukage
-_- So it seems my idea isn't that popular, I see...No matter. If anyone wants to look this over, and work on it, please leave a comment saying so.
