LE requesting revival of old perk mod

there's an old perk mod i really like but it's really old and hasn't been updated in years. also, i've heard it's got its share of problems.

 

since the guy who made this old mod isn't working on it anymore i'm hoping someone could pick it up and revive it (and maybe make a special edition version of it).

it's a bit ironic that i'm asking for a revival of this mod since this mod itself was made as a revival of an even older mod.

well , the authors of both mods haven't been here in over a year (the author of the newer mod hasn't been active for over 1.5 years , the other for around 2.5 years)

and since they state that you need their permission to modify their mod and upload it , I say good luck trying to get their permission somehow

 

since you won't likely be able to get any permission , no one will be able to release this remake here

so you should really explore how the world was made (look at it in TES5Edit or the CK) , and try to remake it for yourself

if you check the comments , people actually state how to use it for SE , but it doesn't mean the mod works without any problems

all in all , there are so many great perk mods out there , but if you really want this remade , you'll most likely have to do it yourself

actually, the guy who made the "Perky Reborn" mod wrote the following on the mod description page.

 

"SERIOUSLY though if a more talented modder comes along and wants to pick this up I'll be happy to hand Jjinx's amazing work with my edits over to the modder it deserves"

 

so he's kinda already given permission.

 

as for the guy behind the original "Perky" mod he wrote this on the mod description page.

 

"Q) Can I translate this mod into my language?

A) I don't care, do whatever you want with this mod, I consider it entirely open source, if you modify it and rerelease it just give me credit."

strange , because this conflicts with the section under Permissions and Credits (you can see these in the drop down menu at the top of the description)

but I missed this line in the description , so I guess I was half wrong here . sorry for that :happy:
