DeaDWarrioR51
A couple of days ago my Skyrim SE updated on Steam. Today I installed the new version of SKSE but some mods like Enhanced Character Edit or Floating Damage don't work.Do I have to wait for the mods to update / do I have to reinstall them?Should I reinstall every mod and if yes is there an easy way to do it with the NMM? (I have 131 mods installed so that would take a while) The errors that I get aren't helping me much. Edited April 8, 2018 by DeaDWarrioR51
WastelandAssassin
it seems like these mods do need to be updated to work with the latest version of the game , and the latest version of SKSE64I'm not sure if this happened on every single update the game got , as I haven't really modded SE much , but I believe this is the problem with such modsso thank Bethesda for the needless updates , and hope that the mod authors are still around to update their mods (and if you either can't wait or they won't update their mods , find one of the threads describing how to revert the update , downgrade your SKSE64 to the previous version and set up the game to not update automatically) Edit : to be clear , you don't need to reinstall all of your modsyou just need to update the specific mods that the update broke . and these should have instructions on how to update properly , so follow these instructions Edited April 8, 2018 by WastelandAssassin
QuagaarWarrior
Alternatively do what I did. Replace your game exe with the one before the update and use the older version of SKSE until all your mods are updated.
