Re-do Death.

Could someone create a mod which removes the death mechanics? I can resurrect anyone in the game, I can hax infinite stamina and magicka, but apparently I can't resurrect myself.

I want to be able to do just that.

I have a few ideas that would be fun, and one idea that just is.

Just is:

Allow the player to use "resurrect" on his or her self when killed.

Fun ones:

Spell "contingent resurrection".

This would be a resurrection spell that raises the player when killed.

Tombraiser

When killed, you appear three days later in-game time in a random tomb at full health. Optional: Mini-quest to reclaim all your stuff, which has been taken away (After all, you were dead and all).

Escape Helheim

When killed, you appear in a hellish afterlife and must find a way to escape. This could be a door, or not. It should revolve all seven deadly sins somehow, or just one random one each time. Such as bribing Greed, appeasing Envy, satisfying Lust, calming Wrath (or lying and directing him to someone else, try to get him to send YOU back into the land of living to deal with it). This could be highly creative. Oh. and after one week in-game time, if you haven't done what you said you'd do that Sin would come to retrieve you resulting in permadeath though it would be great if you could see your character enduring eternal torment before you permadie.

Blessings of Sovngarde.

When killed, you appear in Sovngarde and must find a way to escape. Easier then Escape Hell, as no one tries to kill you. How to escape: You must find a small object that when activated will return you to your body. This object is randomly placed each time and could be anywhere inside the building, or out in the wilderness. Once you escape, perhaps the gate keeper guy can come after you and you must defeat him to prove yourself enough for him to overlook your escape. Loosing results in permadeath.

Whether you go to Helheim or Sovngarde should depend on your crime statistics.
