audiodef
I don't know how many modding guides there are for SSE, but I decided to write one. I had some time to spare, and I wanted to document what I was doing. When I got to making a bashed patch, though, my game would CTD during the Bethesda logo. If I disable the bashed patch and re-activate all the plugins that went into the bash, I can load my game just fine. So I would appreciate any advice from old hands at this. Here's my guide. It's a WIP, not meant to followed yet. https://audiodef.blogspot.com/2018/04/have-gaming-hobby.html
QuagaarWarrior
Sounds like you have included a mod in the patch that shouldnât be in there. Not sure if this will work but try activating the patch and then activating one of the esps disabled by the patch. Then launch your game. Go through each one until the game launches without CTD. Once youâve found the culprit (there could be more than one) rebuild your bashed patch excluding that modLet me know how you get on
audiodef
QuagaarWarrior, This is an excellent idea, thank you. Cheers,Audiodef EDIT: After following this suggestion, I was able to determine that it's the bashed patch itself that is causing the CTD at the Bethesda logo. I will need to see if I can create a succession of bashes that include/exclude various things. Edited April 9, 2018 by audiodef
