CTD problem

What could cause this?

 

I'm wondering if it has a relationship to mods related to nature etc. Could a armor mod cause this? I'm open to suggestions.

 

I'm CTDing whenever I go into dense forests, anywhere from the Whiterun/Riverwood path all the way towards the T-road that leads to Markarth, Whiterun, and Solitude off of Falkreath.

I just uninstalled 12 armor mods thinking they may be the cause. I've noticed I CTD whenever I get near the mine that is south of Riverwood. I uninstalled my hi-res water tex. mod that made me crash whenever I was near water (W.A.T.E.R.esp). I CTD in remote pockets of the Redoran Plans west of Whiterun (which isn't a forest, so I got no idea whats causing this, not even in the slightest).

 

Id really appreciate some brainstorming. This is a lot of mods to cover and id like to narrow it down some. Thanks :thumbsup:

Update: good news. It is an esp related problem. Disabled every esp and was able to pass through the forest without crashing. Now which one.. oh boy, I better get a coffee.":ohdear:"
