bluesmurph Posted April 22, 2012 Share Posted April 22, 2012 So i am having problems with my perks i am creating. 1st: I have a perk with three ranks. Each rank allows you to craft new recipes at the tanning rack. I have all the conditions set up for the recipes (the HasPerk condition) but it still lets be craft the recipes even if i don't have the perks. why is it doing this? 2nd: I have a perk that allows you to use a spell. The only problem is i want it to teach you the spell once you get the perk. how do i do this? is their some script i have to write? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I notice that all of the stock Tanning Rack recipes, their condition targets are Reference: (any), PlayerRef instead of the usual Subject. 2) In the Perk, add an Entry of type Ability and pick the spell from the list. You already have that and it's not working? oh wow thank you. i feel so dumb not knowing about the add entry and ability thing -.-anyway i still don't see why its letting me craft the items without the perk. I have everything filled out as it should be... i think. The perks in blacksmithing that allow daedric smiting and such are just like mine so maybe the tanning rack is creating problems? Sparafucile Posted April 23, 2012 Share Posted April 23, 2012 Like I said, if you compare some of the vanilla Workbench, etc. recipes against the Tanning Rack recipes, you'll see that Condition entries on the ones for the Tanning Rack have a different Target.
