How to make money in obivion

the fastest way i made money is by using mods....

yes it's sad, but it's true, ummm i don't use it tho since I'm full with money, and mods just adds excitement.

 

I would actually do all the quests first, Dark Brotherhood is a good place to start then go for the thieves guild for fences (u'll have at least somewhat decent sneak to steal by now)

 

and work your way up to gray fox so you just can steal literally ANYTHING-except from the thieves guild i guess- dark brotherhood there isn't a lot of stuff worth stealing...

 

and also if you stole everything- i love to steal from local guard houses and ofcourse imperial guard tower (who can resist that?) - you can start going for raiding @ this point

 

you would have been around level 6 at least - hopefully. at level 6 and above you will get a somewhat good-decent money from raiding. if you need extra cash - STILL - i would

 

suggest going to the arena and get the grandchampion title at level 20+ you could get 3000+ just for dropping by and killing 3 minotaur lords.

 

OH AND DON"T FORGET!!! WANT MONEY? DO WHAT MR.FOX's SAY, "that cowl looks good on you" and DO WHAT THE THIEVES GUILD SAYS, "wear the shadows well"

 

go about everywhere steal everything use invisibility if chased - at this point don't even bother to sneak just steal and cast invisibility :)

It depents what you are.

If you wanna be a thief then as soon as you get out of the sewer do all the quests to get into the arcane university.

Get a few soul gems and make a 100% invisibility suit and run around stealing and killing what ever you want.

Stash all your loot.

Go to jail and join the thievs guild and sell everything to your fence. :D

For me the easiest way was to carry all I could off of those I killed,sell it,and then head back out.If you get all that money early in the game, for me it would take away the challenge to improve myself.
