PilotCodex
Hey Guys, I need some help with the Skyrim Creation Kit, does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I got the Skyrim Creation Kit up and working, but when I saved the mod and went into data, no file was there. I made sure Isaved it in the right directory and everything as well. The one piece of information I have is that when I load files with the CK, the file comes up but with a symbol of a lock on it. Help Please!!!!! Does anyone know a fix. flobalob
For future reference, I'm guessing you installed steam in the default location (C:\Program Files\Steam\) The problem with the TES games is that the kit(s) save to ...\Data\ but Windows UAC intercepts the file save as puts it in a subdirectory of C:\Users\The easy solution is to NEVER install anything in C:\Program Files. Install all your games etc to somewhere else (anywhere else), I personally have an entire games drive so my copy of steam is in G:\Steam\
