1Mac
Older threads on this subject are contradictory as to whether or not one should use both heap programs, so I'd like to know what the current consensus is. Is there any advantage to using both? If not, which is better? For OSR, which heap algorithm is the best? Bonus question: what can people tell me about the experimental threading settings in OSR? Do they work? Are they stable? Any recommended settings?
lubronbrons
I heard that Heap in OSR can cause issue... crashing when looting arrowother than that I don't knowme curious about this toois heap really working ? I didn't use heap thingy for very long time and my game is stable as it is now without it (except that freezing issue which is only occasional)
1Mac
Somewhat related to the topic at hand: Supierce recently release a new version of her OSR ini. Explanation here (hat tip to dirtroad101). I just tried it out and it seemed to help with stability. It doesn't answer my main questions about how MoreHeap and OSR's heap management interact.
