Cyberlazy
bastardofbodom: Well good news, Looks like beth left the rock-it launcher models in, so as long as the functionality still works I should be able to add it back in. VaultPi: Classic fallout weapons adds a needler pistol and he has already authorised me to make new ammo for it. I will look into that, since I was working on making new chemical ammo types. (Acid: Reduces DT, minor damage, Poison: Low damage and causes target to frenzy (More of a hallucinogen?) I was thinking maybe in addition to that, I would make one (or more?) shotguns be rechamberable to (Co2 powered?) 'darts', so that vanilla fallout had a dart weapon. Hyoukage
I for one would love to see the Rock-It launcher make a return. "The Rock-It Launcher! Prove to your enemies that even junk can be lethal!"Nothing like killing a Super Mutant with a Teddy Bear. I went through a few hundred, by the way. VaultPi
sufficant quanity of explosives is a way of life in the wasteland, a fairly lonely way of life as most companions tend to get killed by friendly fire....
Hyoukage
There is no such thing as "Overkill"... There is: "Open fire!", "Reload!", "Kill 'em again!", and "Get the hell outta the way!"

Hyoukage
"Disposable gecko companions"? Why ain't something like that public? We could all use a few [thousand] geckos.I hear/see "gecko", I think "cannon fodder" and "artillery practice target" and "start bombing here marker"
Cyberlazy
Oh, but they are.. just get craft pack, a geck egg and some energy ammo to power the heat lamp... bring to a workbench... Incubate the egg... pull the pin* and toss and POP! a new gecko companion. Can be repeated for a small herd of geckos. They come in normal, Fire and golden btw! *Yea, I did not know gecko eggs had pins either until I invented these.
VaultPi
just don't add too much buffout to your Gecko egg companions, we don't want a repeat of what happened to fallout Tokoyo..... ok, maybe Kaijii would be cool...

Even the player-made versions of the Molotov have the "pull pin" animation, and unless they're rigging those bottles with grenade fuses, they have no pins. The only other exception is stuff like the Fat Mine, Bottlecap Mine, and other "mine" charges. They use a "flick switch" animation, before giving 'em a small toss. The only "mine" with any real distance to it when tossed is the Gas Bomb. Warning!: When tossing Fat Mines, use the Demi-God/God Mode console commands if doing so in combat. Otherwise... well, at least our explosives don't act like your grenades do in Halo... we'd be screwed... and so would the Mojave. Think of it like so:Courier: *Throw Fat Mine* (Is carrying 2 tonnes of said Fat Mines)Deathclaw: *Within sensor range of recently-tossed Fat Mine* *sniff-sniff* "Grr...." *looks down* "?" (o_O) ~Pan to Arroyo, deep in NCR territory~*A distant roaring boom is heard*President Kimball: "What was THAT?!"President's Aide: "Sir! A report just in, the Hoover Dam is gone, sir!"PK: "WTF?! How?!"PA: "No idea sir, the Ranger who sent the report said something about an idiot Courier and too many Fat Mines, sir."PK: "WTF is a Fat Mine?"PA: "According to the report, a Fat Mine is a rewired Mini Nuke, with a proximity fuze, sir."PK: O.O "Who puts' a proximity fuze on a MINI NUKE?!" Yea, I had planed for mutant/oversized geckos by adding drugs to the incubate process. but nobody showed any interest in that subsection...
