Importing NV PA animations into Fo3

I like the animations for Power Armor from New Vegas much more than I like the ones from Fallout 3, mostly because the animations don't have parts clipping through each other. Characters wearing power armor move differently, like they should. I want to import those animations into Fallout 3, and have characters wearing power armor use those animations. But I can't figure out how to get them to use those animations only while wearing power armor.
