Skyrim VR Mod Requests

How about adding something to the cave and dungeon immersion.... Why do barrels contain food when there are only draugr or ghosts around. I think that food would at least be rotten by the time I get there.... Barrels should only contain non-perishables in those dungeons.

I guess I am also curious as to how only four apples/potatoes/etc can fit in a barrel....

- Add "unknown' ore locations throughout Skyrim in locations that are not on the common path of most quests (mountain sides, bottom of lakes, stream beds, seldom explored caves). These ore locations should be harder to find and look smaller than the normal ones we are used to.

You would need an assayer kit to be able to identify what the ore is. Maybe with reagents that can be made. Each time a reagent is applied, there would be a random chance for a particular ore to be revealed. The probabilities are that more common ores will appear but there is a significant chance that are rarer ore may be discovered. Since it is random, the ore location and type of ore will differ in each play through.

It may even be possible to find rare ores and the fabled Aetherium might be found somewhere as well. Of course, Aetherium would not be identified as such until after the quest to discover the Aetherium Forge is finished. It may be labeled as a magical shard until the forge is used.

Maybe the quest could then add additional recipes for armor and weapons.

Alas, I do not have the talents to create such a mod but would enjoy playing it....

I personally would like to see for VR

called Et'Ada Cathedral -

A new Player Home designed for VR through quests that you would have built

Mannequins and Weapon Racks specifically for the stock base armor and weapons as a collectable feature with extra ones for mods as well as unique weapons.

Guilds would have a wing off the player home portion where different members would reside assisting you if need be and have places for armor and weapons specific to their quests.

an extension of the home would be a cathedral where there would be 2 wings,

1st - 9 Divines

2nd - Daedra Princes

after completing certain quests for each of them respectively, you would gain the ability to add a temple to the cathedral corresponding example

Dibella and Mara where doing the quests and after obtaining the blessings would unlock the ability to build their shrine, same for the Daedra after completing their quest.

Each shrine area would represent their domain, like Mora's looking like his plane of Oblivion, or Dagon's Coldharbour, that have their own priest and priestess that maintain, and have guards like Daedra or the Seducers and Saints.

From there you can add quests to expand the weapons and armor from the lore in order to insert Artifacts that are missing from the game and add more that would make sense to the Aedra or Daedra, like Adding a Bow artifact from Kyne/Kynareth or having you earn a tome to summon various nature based summons, to round out the game a bit.

The reasoning for this is a bit better of a player home that makes it easier for movement while creating something that VR's depth of field can take advantage of for the effect of immersion and such. Keeping in Mind crafting and storage that makes it easier without running around to different rooms like many player Homes do. While making materials easier to move around for VR hands as most of the time I use weapons to extend the interaction to make it easier.

TY I know that it is a bit involving and a bit much, but it surely would be epic.

An update to UIExtensions for VR needs to add at least the ability to pull up the virtual keyboard to enter the text required by other parts of the UIExtensions SE. It would also need to enable the controllers pointer instead of the mouse pointer used in SSE. Using the controllers joystick is not very efficient in cases where a lot of items are in an inventory menu. These abilities already exist in Skyrim VR since they are used during character creation to enter a name.

Maybe we can get other mods that rely on UIExtensions to work if these changes were incorporated in a VR version of the UIExtensions.
