jamesCag
I've followed all sorts of tutorials. Here's what I've tried: Create new TypeCreate New Track->Load .wav (also tried .xwm) as Single TrackAdd Track to TypeEdit Interior Cell->Select Music TypeSave Open Mod in Game. No music in that cell at all. I've tried a number of different files, different versions of the .xwm converter MultiXwm. Unfortunately, no help. Is there some step i missed? werr92
The path to your files should be through Data-Music folder. It should be wav, 48 kHz, 16 bit, Stereo (you can then convert it to xwm).
jamesCag
Thanks for the suggestion! So I checked, and my audio files were at 44khz, 16bit, stereo wav. I changed them to 48khz. First I tried .wav, then i tried .xwm. Neither one played the music in game. I'm using Financial06:Default Acoustic Space: IntGenericWoodMediumMusic type: MyFirstType (which contains MyFirstTrack which contains the audio file) Is there anything else i might have missed? jamesCag
Found it: You have to add whichever directories you use from your mod to the Fallout4.ini file:C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
