Sabat9
yeesh, i broke something AGAIN. somewhere along the line, i must have made an inadvertent change to factions or NPC scripts, or something hidden a bit deeper in the mod file i'm working on. All vanilla NPC's now respond to my character with "I'll have you arrested if you dont leave, now!" Xtra mod NPC's like adventurers don't give this response. I used the console to reset infamy, cleaned my plugin with Gecko, did a (completely unnecessary) reinstall, and even started a new character, who then got the same response from the EMPEROR in the opening scene in the cell... something is definately borked, any idea where to start looking for the cause? billypnats
its funny how i have the exact opposite problem.... NO ONE WANTS TO ARREST ME!! Swarms of guards rush to me just to say hi, and and they all greets me instead of "Stop! You've violated the Law" and I can never get out of the greeting cus they keep on talking to me =.=
Sabat9
hey billy, are you using personality idles? Sounds like a problem that arises with guards/npcs reacting to your fame/infamy. read the comments on the mod's info page, and you'll see what i'm getting at. btw, your problem has absolutely nothing at all to do with my problem, hehehe. The problem lies somewhere in the mod i am making, i changed or deleted something i shouldn't have. Unfortunately, i have no idea what it was or how to change it back.
