I have been getting random crashes I can play for a hour or 10mins before I crash. I have been reading and trying to fix my load order for a week but I'm just not getting it I guess. If anyone can help me out and take a look at my load order and if you see a big no no let me know were i should move it.

i haven't played with functional displays in well over a year and didn't have problems with it when i did use it, but i've seen a handful of threads in here about it supposedly causing stability issues and CTDs for other users. iirc, i think it had something to do with the collectables from that mod, and/or the mesh edits it makes to vanilla objects throughout the game? idk, maybe don't quote me on that but i think that's what i remember reading ha.

probably not related to your CTD issues, but if you have all DLCs, i'm not sure why you're using the individual DLC plugins for AWKCR when there's already an all DLC version which will only take up one mod slot instead of multiple. also, i don't use Scrap Everything, but from what i've seen other users here mention, you shouldn't need 5 different plugins for it. everything should be included in the ultimate edition .esp and (i'm guessing) the scrap update plugin, but i'd suggest reading the mod page description to figure out exactly which plugins you should be using

outside of that, i'm not very familiar with many of the mods you use, so i wouldn't be able to help there. just out of curiosity, i also see you have the HD DLC, which seems to be particularly demanding and a resource hog from what i've read. what's your pc set up? may be worth considering ditching the HD DLC to see if that will help with performance issues?

I'll try to help, but this is going to be a long post, so bare with me.

Thing to have on hand and know:

1. Head to Bethesda.net and save a copy of the Fallout 4 general load order guide. This guide is a great resource for how your mods should be ordered.

2. You absolutely will want the Fallout 4 Unofficial patch in your game. It fixes a ton of bugs (you've got it and in the right place).

3. There is a 256 mod limit, so do check your count. It is possible to combine some mods, but I have no clue on that topic.

4. NMM is no longer supported on the Nexus, though you can still use it. Eventually it will be Vortex only, but we're not there just yet (keep an eye out though).

5. The most up to date version of NMM is on github, someone posted a link on another topic in this forum that went to an installer. Others have said however that Creation Club additions really mess with it though, so which version you want is going to be a case of trial and error.

6. LOOT is supposed to be great at sorting load orders, but I haven't had a lot of luck with it, so I will be explaining the manual way to do things (I will be putting in some useful tips that may speed up the process for you, so do keep reading that section, when we get there).

7. Do have a seperate location for NMM to store all your mods, preferably near the root of a hard drive (ex. C:\NMM FO4 Mods\). If you're storing where NMM is, problems can arise. Do note that in NMM's settings in the Fallout 4 tab there are three directory paths listed (These are in no particular order, but you'll understand when you look there):

A. The location for Fallout 4.

B. Where all your downloaded archive files are (What holds all the pieces for a mod you may or may not use in game at the moment).

C. The location for the install scripts for those mods that have an installer (If something happens to these, don't panic too much as the archive has them there too, so worst case, you run the reinstall option for that mod when it's active).

8. NMM is going to need administrator level access (find NMM's exe (see the shortcut you have for the location), right-click on it, go to properties, and in among those tabs you will find the option for it to run with admin rights (a checkbox)). This solves a number of issues.

9. NMM can lose track of its virtual links, you'll know it has when a weapon mod you have works but you don't see the gun itself or textures have disappeared in game (settlement walls or objects are interactable, but not visible, sometimes objects are suspended mid-air, where you know there was a floor). If this happens the ba2 files in the various mods you have, have been lost track of by NMM, the only fix is to find those files in the mod archives and copy them to Fallout 4's data folder directly.

10. The import and export tool in NMM (Found in the plugins section) will help with manually fixing your load order. The importer will ignore lines starting with a #, so you can use those lines in your exported order for notes and as headings, so you can better organize your pile of mods. It is possible to keep all parts of a mod together, but that will be on a mod by mod basis. Do pay attention to the dependencies listed for the mod plugin in NMM as this will help a whole lot. See my "Need some help and issues with some tools" post (or titled close to that), page two, near the end for a good example import file. I do have some of the same mods in use, so where I have some of mine is where you should have yours (categorical sense at least, though Scrap Everything and Spring Cleaning are very picky about where they are. So do note that if they are not where needed, all the stuff you'd love someone to clean up may come back, if it does, move the needed mod further down the list and see if that fixed it). Once you have your order sorted in the exported text file, import it back through NMM's import option.

11. Do keep an eye on the Fallout 4 Script Extender and MCM (Mod Configuration Menu), these two can be extremely useful and a lot of mods use them (The first adds functionality, the second can save you holotapes, though you can save those stored elsewhere as a just in case). These do get updated frequently as Bethesda updates the game, so if the version changes, check the pages and see if they caught up (Do note F4SE needs to have its files in the main Fallout 4 directory/folder removed when upgrading from the older 1.10.75 to .82 if using the installer. Manually putting them in can work, just make sure the needed files get changed. Wirth looking at the dates to see when what has changed.).

Things I'd double check:

1. Scrap Everything: I see you have the Core and the Ultimate pieces, I would question the rest except an update piece (maybe). The best idea is check the mod page to see what affects what and what you really need.

2. Salvage Beacons: These things are great along with Sparky the Force Bubble for giving you a place to store things to be later dumped into your workbench. I will also recommend Lootable Vault-tec Containers, as that will make all of those containers very useful, both for the items placed in them (resources) and the fact that you can put stuff in them. I will recommend that when you can, build the Salvage Beacon Station, have a settler assigned to it and once that's done, craft or give yourself a beacon (if on Survival, Survival Options will give you the access to the console and Better Console can be of help later for things you need to do there), then go somewhere like Vault 111 or the Red Rocket near Sanctuary, and once there, add a small lootable item to a container, drop in a Beacon and see if two things happen: One, That the beacon gets added and Two, That when you exit the transfer dialogue, you get the dialogue for where to drop off the items in the newly made cache. Do note that so long as the team hasn't shown up yet, you can add more stuff to the container for them to grab, just be aware there is an item limit (don't know the details there, but that's why you have a batch of beacons with you and can use more containers that way). If you have problems with the Beacon, move the mod down the list.

Hopefully all of this helps.

Thanks a lot man, it seemed to have fixed my issue I removed scrap everything and reinstalled and AKWCR and saw that the DLC for AKWCR was in my data folder so I deleted and reinstalled and have been playing crash free. I think when i installed AKWCR the pop up asked what DLC you have and i checked all of them...
