fms1
To find ver. go to where you installed Skyrim on your HDD, in the Skyrim folder click (once) on TESVexe. then right click, select properties, go to the details tab, it will have File Version (what your game is patched to). fms1
It should be in Steam\Steamapps\common\skyrim if it's not there it may be a rare occasion that when steam tries to update your game it deletes TESVexe. If so using the verify game cashe function in steam should fix it. EDIT: it will only show as TESV and not TESVexe. ARTAQ
fixed it! i followed the instructions on this thread: http://www.gamespot.com/forums/topic/28956160 all i had to do was go to Steam Library, right click Skyrim, Properties, Local Files, Verify Integrity Of Game Files. it then started downloading an Update. after that the TESV link is now in the Steam folder. it now launches. i hope this helps others :D tx for the help --- art.
