mmoye9
As the title says, After finishing Dead Money and leaving the villa back to the mojave the ending credits slide didn't play and radio stations (like Radio New Vegas and the like) are still gone but the stations from dead money are still present, any help sorting this out would be appreciated and I will provide my mod load order
dubiousintent
Please see 'Cause-2' under the 'Issue: Radio station music doesn't play' entry of the 'Solutions to Performance problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-

mmoye9
I can't figure out how to use these commands, I just want to get radio new vegas and Mojave music radio working and to get rid of the stations from dead money (the 3 ULF stations)
dubiousintent
We know what you want. There isn't a simple "just do this" answer because we don't know why the problem occurs. That's why there are three "solutions", to cover possible causes. But even then we don't know that they will fix your problem. So you have three choices: either go back to some save before you left "Dead Money" and finish the quest again to see if the problem goes away when you get back to the Mojave because it didn't glitch this time; use a different solution; or learn to use those console commands. OR the fourth option is to live without the music (but we are assuming you have rejected that option). Have you ever used the "console" before? Do you have JIP LN NVSE installed? What did you try? Be precise, because the syntax of console commands has to be precise as well. If double quotes are required, you can't substitute single quotes instead. Etc. -Dubious-
mmoye9
I tried the commands listed in the solution but couldn't figure out what it what expecting as a reference or referenceable object despite trying my damnedest to figure that out, I looked in fnvedit for what the solution mentioned but to no avail
mmoye9
I'd also like to point out that going back that far would require me to restart the entire game, I don't have multiple save files
dubiousintent
Well, I haven't had this problem and I'm off to bed now, but I will see if I can figure out the references you need later today. Though as I recall the references for "Mojave Music Radio" are in that entry. Once you get it working the others should show up once you get in range of their activators. And this is a classic example of why multiple saves exist as a mechanism. The game engine allows up to 1000 of them for a reason. -Dubious-
dubiousintent
Well, I can see why you were having problems. Getting the Ref-IDs for the radio stations was very obscure. But I did find a method of obtaining at least some and have updated that entry with the specific references for four common stations and specific examples of each command. Unfortunately I could not determine a Ref-Id for "Mojave Music Radio", so you will have to see if re-enabling "Radio New Vegas" is sufficient for your purposes. The FadeSFX function is used by the fade-in and fade-out effects of the DLC entrance and exit cut-scene slideshows. It's a potential cause of the loss of the radio stations. If you haven't given that a try, it's worth a shot if the console approach doesn't work out. -Dubious-
