snark567
The trees in the Oasis have this canopy shadow effect that looks pretty similar to the one in Oblivion. Basically there is a texture on the ground that's swaying back and forth to simulate the casting of a shadow from the trees. Is there a way to activate this effect for a custom tree model in the GECK? Deleted21304489User
I know that the unofficial patch has this effect for all wasteland trees. It's basically a texture. You can open up the patch, using something like xxxEdit, and see the texture path under world space edits. Hope this helps. If it doesn't work I can always try to dublicate the original oasis tree and point to a blank texture so that it wouldn't be visible in game but will still cast the shadow. Jesus Bethesda, why didn't you just add the option to add a canopy effect straight from the geck lol.
