cptmrcalm
Hi there,Its been mentioned elsewhere, but no answer that I could find. Has anyone any advice on what tool to use to clean Skyrim VR's master files? Could I tweak an ini file for Xedit or something? Currently, its being used for Skyrim SE, but is there a way of pointing it to Skyrim VR?
bZuYSu90
xEdit works, just start it with the argument -tes5vrYou may have to pick up the lastest, I have v3.2.1 I got that following the developer thread at afkmods.

cptmrcalm
Thanks again. Was able to get it last night. There was a moment of: "where does he mean?" and "is this it?" and "afkmods??!?".... But then composing myself, I found it. Cleaned the files. Cleaned the update, the DLCs - but didn't clean Skyrim VR. Left that. So thanks again. bZuYSu90
Sorry for the confusion, since that is a competing mod site, I didn't want to direct link it because I didn't know if that was okay. Glad it worked. I did clean SkyrimVR.esm and just used MO2 to add it as a custom mod so my /data/ folder stays intact and steam doesn't try to fix it every time I validate files.
