Moveing
The police here are fed up with the justice system ... they catch the criminals only to see them released back into society ... so yes, off the record many of them would lookthe other way.Yeah its always the same. The imprison kids for smoking pot and all other kinds of non-violent crime but psycho bullies got released after a few month or on probation. Why? Because this is what keeps the police state going. And then the kids are in prison, getting raped, got HIV, join a gang and when they come out of this crime-collage system they have a degree in drug-chemic and robbery. More work for the security complex, more work for buerocrates, more taxmoney to pay for those rotten corrupt system. And these Gangbangers get released on society which in 98% of all cases is a bunch of re-educated sheeps to coward to fight back. I told you, saw the british get beaten up and robbed by this criminal hord of scum? They are a not allowed to have guns, they being told to love criminal minorities. But the Pakistanis fought back with baseball bats and some of them got killed, they are still red blooded. Yeah and the siks guarded their temples with swords. Freaking swords, this looked like the battle from the Lord of the Rings where the colourfull good forces stand against the dark evil marauding hordes. But in Brazil you can see when things realy go out of control. The police which are not corrupt go founding deaths squads or rise up neighbourhood militias and fight crime their own way. There are beheadings all over the place and this place looks like in the darkest times of the mayan culture. This is when things getting realy out of control and it will happen in the western countries maybee 10 years from now on.

This police state that you are referring to wouldn't be Great Britain? I ask since what you describe bears no resemblance to the country I grew up in or visit yearly. The riots in question is another matter, they were out of control and if memory serves required pulling constabulary from all over southern England to quell. Observed from over this side of the pond it seemed a violent flash mob of opportunity that was underestimated by the Metropolitan Police. As for the right wing Death Squads in Brazil their motivation has little to do with law and order and much more to do with the politics of extremism. They are little different than a series of ultra right para militarys that have existed in Argentina, Panama and Columbia over the years counterbalanced with the guerrilla movements in each of those countries. Neither side has clean hands. I fail to share your nihilistic view of the future, which is speculative at best.
