Daz010
I was Making a House Boat mod but I had also edited a few NPC's, Just inventory and face changes but I decided I just wanted the House boat on it's own so I went to undo the changes to the NPC's by going to File: Data, going into my mod and pressing delete on the NPC's that I changed, The game loads up while I'm inside the Boat I made but when I leave it to go outside it crashes. Is there anything I can do to undo what I've done?
scrivener07
If you've dropped records from your mod then there is no way to undo that unless you have made a backup from before dropping records. The cause of your crashing is likely because your mod is trying to find something you deleted or your save file is trying to find something you deleted. First, test your mod with a new game or load a save that has never ever been loaded with your mod. If you still get a crash weve narrowed the problem down to your plugin. Daz010
I think I know why it was crashing, When I deleted the changes I made to the NPC's I think it also deleted a companion and a Dragon I made which was based on the NPC's I edited which was also located just out side on the ship where you exit the interior, it didn't crash if I used the console to travel to Riverwood so I went there made a new save and used a back up of the mod and tried again but only deleted the NPC's which I didn't use to make the Dragon and the Companion and it seems to of worked so I'll just go from there. Although in saying that it still deleted my dragon and companion but at least it didn't crash, but it gives me a chance to start fresh with the dragon and companion. But thanks at least I know I can't get records back after deleting them, I'll be a bit more careful in the future.
