Disable all mods. Does the bug persist? If not, single out the mod causing the problem.

Thanks I'm only gonna do that If I can't do anything else, I have a 184 mods and that will take forever and it's not so easy and fast with NMM. Up to this point I've been able to fix all mod issue without doing that and I'd like to keep it that way but thank you very much for your help. Next !

Try renaming the 'woodelfmale' and 'woodelffemale' folders in data > textures > actors > character. It doesn't matter what you call them, you can just add a letter to the end of each. That way Skyrim won't use them. If that fixes it, then don't bother doing anything else, because if those two folders are ever needed again, fresh versions will be added when you install a mod that uses them. If that doesn't fix it, change the folder names back to what they originally were, because they're not the problem in that case.

Like he said, disable all the mods if renaming those folders doesn't work. If the bug goes away, re-enable half of the mods. You can use a strategy where you reactivate mods in "clumps" to search quickly instead of testing each of the 184 mods individually.

Also, just to be safe, I've had some people who thought that "disabling" a mod meant deleting it. That shouldn't be necessary except in specific circumstances. Unchecking the plugins in the launcher will be fine to disable a mod. And, btw, for future reference, try not to get more than 250 mods activated at once or weird bugs start to happen. That's not the problem now, but it's just a warning for some time in the future when you have 240+ mods eventually.

That makes sense thanks i'll try that and yea I don't normally go over 240 mods.

Also, do you or anyone know where I can find the skin textures file for Woodelves, I thought it was called "tones" but I cannot find it anywhere, if I can find that file I can fix it I think ?

even if I go to data>textures>actors>characters>characterassets or any other file I just can't find it anywhere and I swear I thought I've seen it before but I could be wrong????
