omsburn
i have slof's goth shop II installed and i love the nose rings, but they don't line up right on my character.... so i was wondering how to go about re-positioning them.i'm sure its possible, i just don't know which program(s) is right for the job... any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks. jaysus
nifskope should do the job... just open the *.nif (model) file of the rings and play with the translation settings of the nitristrips thingy... translation can be found under block details
HouseAtlantic
I thought the only way would be blender or another 3D modeling programI haven't found a way to do that with Nifskope
jaysus
blender etc would be easier i guess as you could load a body model and place the ring accordingly... the nifskope way is much more trial and error... but also easier if you have no clue bout max n co open the nosering.nifgo to view -> "show block details"in the center left list select "nitristrips"in the bottom window go to "translation"and change the x,y,z coordinates according to the misplacement... x is left right, y up down and z back and forth if i remember correctly... omsburn
yeah, that's what i've been doing... changing the x/y/z positions with nifskope. its definitely moving the nose ring, but it is definitely all trial and error at this point. thank you jaysus for pointing me in the right direction!!!
