PalateSwap
I've spent the last couple of hours scouting around looking for the ideal place for the entrance of the interior cell I've been working on, having found it, I opened the corresponding Wilderness cell in the editor and renamed it. Shortly after, I found an even better place, but I can't seem to get the first cell back to being called 'wilderness' in order to give the second cell the correct name for the exterior of this place. If I have already saved over my .esp, am I completely screwed?

If I have already saved over my .esp, am I completely screwed? From the 'Open file' dialog, hit the details button to show all the records in your mod. Click the one's related to the modified cell and press 'Del' to ignore them. Next time you save the mod, the modifications should disappear completely, and the cell should not even show as being modified. This is better than just renaming them, which would leave 'dirty edits' and potentially cause conflicts with other mods. You can do the same thing easier with TesVSnip, and almost certainly with Wyre Bash as well (although I'm not familiar enough with Wyre Bash to tell you the steps involved). ChampionOfHircine
I still haven't figured out how to rename exterior cells in the first place. For interiors I right click, edit, Interior Data tab, name. No data tab for exteriors. How do you do it?

Not as fast as a double click.

scrivener07
If you want the message that pops on the top left of the screen I think that comes from a location marker that has a certain radius. Are we still talking about exteriors?
ChampionOfHircine
Yes, exterior. I want doors linked to the cell to not say "open wilderness".
