lostami
So I have been playing skyrim for maybe a month, really taking it slow any enjoying it.But after getting my steel plate armor, I began to stare at the fur skirt a lot... it started out fine, and just slowly got on my bad side, so after a night of badly attempted meshing and textures... I had a horribly garbled looking piece of scrap metal and leather... I sighed and knew I was not fit to be a mesh or texture artist... that was something to be left to the people with actual skill. So here I am, and here is what I was trying Needed features. #1: Start with Steel Plate armor. #2: Remove Fur belt/skirt from the lower body and replace with new chainmail skirt (custom mesh) #3: Retexture with slightly bright steel texture on metal plates. #4: Replace texture of clothe under the armor with chainmail. (Matching skirt) #5: Compatibility With http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15927 #6: Mirror, Chrome, or Heavy Polish finish for all Steel Plates #7: Retexture, all pieces to remove the nordic/spiral patterns and give smooth metal finish. Optional Objectives (Not in order of importance) #1: Replace fur belt/skirt With chainmail with plates skirt. #2: Make UNPB Compatible. (No BBS support as armor is stiff not jiggly!) #3: Improved Texture detail and HD resolution. THINGS NOT TO DO: #1: Embellish with gaudy gold trims and shapes. #2: Make it skimpy. #3: Make it look like it does not protect vital organs!
