Fyrusn
I am a mac user running an owned version of Skyrim LE through my steam account. I have been able to get many mods, apps, and addons to work, but I have run into an issue with running FNIS because it does not identify my port directory as a legal version. Z:\Applications\The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim (Legendary Edition.app\Contents\Resources\drive_c\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe I was able to run the program using wine since it is not an addon. Are there any ways that I can get this to work? If evidence of ownership is an issue, my Steam ID is fyrusn. You should be able to see that I own the game on Steam. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
fore
You probably have to live with the warning. It'S only a warning, and has no effect on the game. FNIS isn't made for mac. And it isn't made for a place that is outside of the place assigned by Steam. Steam/Skyrim will create an appropriate registry key, which FNIS will check. And if it is not installed by Steam, you will get this message.
