lv1234
Hi, I realize that a mod on the nexusforums is a little buggy and found that it can be fixed by tweaking its scripts in .esp. I have tried opening it up with notepad and wordpad but it all comes up with gibberish stuff. I recently installed the GECK, but don't know how to use it unfortunately. Any help would be appreciated
kitcat81
You can't edit script that are in .pex format. You need the origonal source .psc files for it. Another way is just to recreate scripts from scratch.

I guess you can also use Champollion mod to convert scripts to PSC. But this only allows to read them and use the knowledge to write your own scripts, converted .PSC can't be attached to an object. It's hard to answer without knowiing what these scripts do and what exactly you want to change. Some scripts are very simple and you can guess the code just by knowing what they do. Others might be long and complex.

And we can't copy and paste the scripts in the PSC right?
kitcat81
If the value you want to change is a property and can be seen in FO4Edit, you can do it without editting the script. Just right click it in FO4Edit and select "edit". You can copy paste scripts, but you will also have to compile them and fill all the properties. And it can cause a corrupted save game when doing it with the mod that is already installed,
