roquefort Posted July 8, 2008 Share Posted July 8, 2008 Joined here a couple of weeks back so I thought I'd come and say hello. I'm currently trying out Oblivion companion mods right now, with some interesting results. Some of those gals don't get on with each other at all, though it looks like it's down to the game's AI rather than mod incompatibility. Gabby and Valeria got on fine, but then I got Viconia DeVir (who is quite the hottie), and that kind of put the cat among the pigeons. I had to let Gabby go as she kept stopping to chat with Viconia and holding up the posse. Then problems emerged with Valeria. She's configured as a sorceress, and when we're attacked out in the sticks she normally conjures up a flame atronach. Viconia doesn't like the atronach and attacks it. Valeria naturally then attacks Viconia and the two of them end up flinging whammy at each other while I'm trying to deal with the real problem. Right now we're in Shivering Isles (Mania), and I might have to send one of them home if they don't start to play nicely.. :biggrin: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can see you are indeed a newbie. But I suppose we all have to learn these things. It's not innate knowledge after all. Welcome to the forums. Enjoy and have fun. But do try to control your family. dezdimona Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 Welcome to the forums,and yes having more than one copanion with you at a time can get frustrating.I keep the only two I use,(one is custom and not for release as of yet), in seperate abodes and never use them together.Have fun! Up pops Valeria's atronach, and the usual fun starts. Valeria and Viconia end up waist-deep in the water whacking each other with swords, yelling and and hurling spells, while the uber-newt attempts to take me apart unchecked (even the atronach had joined in the mud-wrestling match). So, thought I, enough is enough!. Valeria's been sent back to Skingrad to cool off in the pub, and she'll have to wait until I get back, perhaps with a stuffed baliwog wearing a Mexican hat as a souvenir.. So it's just me and Jessica Rabbit (i.e. Viconia) now, so monsters beware! We have cohesion! We have magic boobs!
