Creating a picture book, help needed!

I wanted to make a surprise to my friend by making a picture book in Skyrim using the Creation Kit.

 

At first following guides it went pretty smoothly. The book is ingame, the code seems to be unbroken, I even found out that the maximum image size is height='296' width='471' which I've applied to every single image just in case.

However I keep getting a multi-colored IMG: instead of my pictures.

I even went as far as to empty my pages from everything but the <img src='img://Textures/clutter/books/images/01.png' height='296' width='471'> code.

As far as I learned I also had to go to file > create archive and drag and drop my images there. Oh and I renamed my images to .png

 

I've tried various things really, but I cannot get my images to show up ingame. If anyone has made picture books in Skyrim before, I would love it if you told me how you did it.
