helzi
You are an Oblivion Tree hugger if you... 1. Have had the urge to kill an Imperial Legion Forester for killing a deer.2. Have killed bandits for killing deer.3. Created a house mod deep in a forest.4. Like to walk around the forests simply to see the trees in the sunset/sunrise. ... I've done all 4 of the above. What about you?
madman132
I run around, admiring the Landscape. I run for hours. I found all the Locations by running through the Wilderness. Trees can bite my Arse, i like open Lands better. Although, a House at the Edge of a Forest would be nice, you look out of the Window at one Side and see the Forest and on the other Side you'll have a beautiful View. Well, if there was a mod with "Open Houses"...

jaysus
this reminds me of that: "is it rape if the tree doesnt want to be hugged?" think about it... :P
macmert
I am quite the tree hugger, before I bought a Players Handbook for D&D, I bought the complete book of elves and the ranger's handbook :D I just love elves and I love playing as ranger... :D
Sangel2525
Always depends on the kind of character I'm playing. I suppose my more Ranger oriented characters would have gripes with people picking on deer, unless they were hunters who planned to use the meat and skins and so forth. But just killing them for fun, which seems to be the case with some NPC's... Well those Bandits usually get arrows shot through their heads before they even know I'm attacking them. ;) I have no idea how to create a home with the CS. I am only capable of very mild tweaks. As for appreciating the wilderness, I do much like it but I need a new computer so I can get the full feel of it. Right now I have to keep the settings a bit low or my computer will get angry at me. Halororor
Nah, not all rangers are nature lovers. I kill all the deer I find and when I go sleep for the night at a random campsite I ussually only eat one piece of meat, the rest I leave there for if I come by again one day. macmert
Well some rangers believed that deers belong in the food chain and their sole purpose is to be hunted and be eaten :D But noone should call himself as ranger if he is killing animals for fun :D
Sangel2525
My Ranger characters hunt deer sure... But they don't just kill them for fun. It's for the meat, and skins and such. They respect nature generally, but are all into the natural order of things. I could see one such character in particular, one of my very first characters a Bosmer Ranger getting peeved about people killing deer for fun. Even my Samurai characters would look down upon that. Most of my good characters would look down upon come to think about it, but likely wouldn't be as aggressive as said Bosmer Ranger if they saw it happen. They'd just shake their heads and be on their way, unless of course the deer killers attacked them. My evil characters can care less about deer of course. They're either busy planning their next hit, or creating an undead army of some sort. :P
macmert
Well the bad part is, there is noone to stop you from hunting deers, burning trees and you can still claim that you are a ranger... In D&D I remember getting into fights with my party just to prevent them damaging the forest or the animals and I get an xp reward from the Dungeon Master for my roleplay, but as a ranger in Oblivion, you can do pretty much anything and get away with it :D So roleplay is pretty much up to you...
