Increased follower limit

So I was just wondering if someone could make a mod allowing more then one follower. At least allowing 2 since that is all I need.

There are at least three different multiple follower mods, but why have boring vanilla followers when you can add some very advanced companions that operate outside the generic follower system and thus do not count in follower limitations?

 

Such advanced companions would include:

 

Inigo

Vilja

Auri (Song of the Green)

Anduniel (Anna NPCs)

M'rissi

Aurlyn Dawnstone

Sofia

Recorder

 

The Vilja mod also has an easy to work follower system that can allow Vilja to have her own followers.

First I would like to say thank you for all of the mods second could you name one of these multiple follower mods as I could not find any.

The common follower frameworks allow multiple followers:

EFF: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7003

 

As for "more complex" followers like Inigo, Vilja, M'rissi and so on: Don't manage them with any onf the follower frameworks I listed above. You might break these mods. Use AFT or EFF only for generic followers or vanilla followers (like Lydia). Also don't try managing Serana with AFT or EFF, unless you completed the whole Dawnguard questline.

I like EFF. Take Algabar's suggestion seriously, though, and use Vilja and Sofia's built-in follower commands, and let Serana do her thing until you're done with her quests.
