How to activate <Data Files> button on Launcher

So here we are after bashing my head against my desk trying to make those <Data Files> working... and I thought I should share my knowledge with you guys...

 

Windows XP users:

 

1) Locate the file named Skyrimprefs.ini using the path <Drive letter>/Documents and Settings/<User Name>/My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/

 

2) Open Skyrimprefs.ini using Notepad or Wordpad (whatever suits you better) (right click on the file - open with - select the program from the window)

 

3) Press Ctrl + F

 

4) Write in the dialog box [Launcher]

 

5) Hit <Find Next>

 

6) Right under the found syntax add the following line as you see it here

 

===> bEnableFileSelection=1 <===

 

7) Close the file and when prompted for saving hit <Yes>

 

8) Happy hunting!
