mexx123
Hey guys,I'm quite unfamiliar with modding and so my question now is: how can I manually (because NMM isn't working on my pc) update my mods? Just download and install the new version and delete the old version (won't be my saves affected by this?)?
WastelandAssassin
there is no clear answer to thisin some cases just overwriting the old files with new ones should work , while other mods require more specific instructions (these are usually specified on the mod's page) whatever the case , I would strongly suggest that you get NMM running (I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work for you) , or get MO2 insteadinstalling mods manually isn't really advised , unless you have some experience with these things , as it could lead to many issues which are harder to fix because you don't use a mod manager
mexx123
The NMM does not work because i do not have the service pack 1 for my windows but i can not download this service pack because my pc has cancer ...I will search for the MO2 you mentioned ... hopefully it do not required the windows updateBtw i want to update my Sim Settlement mod, maybe you know what's the case there? WastelandAssassin
actually , if you go to the mod's page and go to the Posts tab , there are a few sticky posts by the mod authorin the first post , there is a link to a video about upgrading the mod (the second link)so you should follow that , I hope that would answer the question
