New worldspace creation in CK has no ground!?!?

Hello,

 

Today, I created a new world space following this tutorial / series step by step: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0XYJm1nWec

 

So, I follow his instructions, but when he comes to create land higher, by clicking on the ground under the water, and dragging up to create higher land, I found I had NO ground underneath! What have I done wrong? Is there some setting I must change?

I'm having the exact same problem. Can't find any solution anywhere

You need to raise the terrain level to above water. There should be a landscaping tool - press H to bring it up (exterior cell only)

select a patch of land, click and drag up until ur above water.
